Yep, it's giveaway time! This month, the giveaway is a jar of homemade Rose Butter. It's an all-natural, rose-scented, thick body cream. (Sorry, I don't have any pics right now because I just gave away my last jar and will be making more this week.) It's perfect for dry skin. If you don't tend to be dry, you may want to hang onto it until this winter when cold weather and heaters start to take their toll. I like to use it on my arms and legs right after the shower. In fact, it'll go further and absorb better if you apply it to slightly damp skin.
So, to be entered into the drawing, you have until Friday to comment on this post and answer the following question:
Of all the various posts you've seen here on Brooding On over the past several months, what has been your favorite?
To refresh your memory, check out the right sidebar for topics covered here on the blog. If you can't point to a specific post, then at least mention what type of posts you enjoy most. I'd like to know what's most popular with my readers so that I can be sure to include more of that type of thing. :) Also, if you have questions about our little farm or would like to see a post on a certain topic, feel free to add that request to your comment.
I look forward to your comments! Check back Saturday to see who the lucky winner is!
I love reading all your posts on here, it's hard to pick a favorite. I think I'll go with the picnic table/snake killing tho. I'm constantly amazed at all the things you do, but that one blew me away! I would've been running and screaming to the house if I'd seen that snake! lol. Keep up the good posts!

I enjoy all the posts about the animals :-)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite post is about your 8 dogs! Your blog entertains me. Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteAshley! I was so excited to find you on Facebook and now stumble upon your blog. I am fascinated by the homesteading lifestyle you are living. We have recently tried some homemade products such as laundry soap and love the results! I can't narrow down my favorite posts because they are all so interesting and intriguing. That said, I do love learning how to make more natural and economical products to use at home. Thanks for the glimpse into your life!

I have not been able to read facebook for a week so I have truly enjoyed catching up. I love reading about the animals and your children. I like how you use Girl 1 and 2 and Boy 1 rather than their names! I have tons of allergies so I am always intrigued by your homemade, natural items you blog about. I even have to use baby shampoo because I am so allergic to dyes and perfumes.
ReplyDeleteI have to say I like the food posts best! ha! Also, I just realized there is another Jessica commenting and it's not putting my last name... this is Jessica Anderson.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy your crock pot meal posts. All your posts are interesting and I look forward to each new one.
ReplyDeleteWell, it's 11:14 on Friday night and I'd better post a comment before time is up because that rose scented body butter is awesome!
ReplyDeleteI like all your posts, Ash. Two that come to mind are... Good help is hard to find .... And the commentary about a trip around the yard. It's because I love to read your thoughts. I see your heart. Nana
